About First Artists

First Artists is a national nonprofit organization that inspires creative expression by providing art supplies to children from low-income families. At a time in American history when schools across the country are forced to decide between art classes, updated textbooks, and basic supplies, children are often denied access to art education of any kind. A life with art education holds greater hope for creativity and expression in other areas. That is why providing art supplies to America's children is such an essential task. Without art supplies, it is that much harder for our children to enjoy lives of expression, imagination, and in some cases, hope.
