First Artists Welcomes Art Manufacturers as Suppliers to the Program. First Artists has received the endorsement of the National School Supply and Equipment Association (NSSEA) and is currently pursuing purchasing relationships with art suppliers who are interested in offering their products to First Artists children at a discounted rate. As is the case with First Book, the children served by First Artists are the most disadvantaged and so would not otherwise be purchasing art supplies. In this way, First Artists represents a new market that will continue to expand with the growth of the program in coming years. The average cost to provide a child with one art project is $2.

First Artists Accepts Overstocks from Art Suppliers. In addition to establishing purchasing relationships with art suppliers, First Artists is also ready to accept donated art supply overstocks through the First Book National Book Bank.
